There is a Problem with copied events. If you copy an event, the alias is copied aswell.
If you try to delete this event you get the message "Event deleted" but the event is still there!
If you change the alias, you can delete the event. I think this is because the alias should be unique?!
Anyway, could you add something to the alias, as some events have the same name.

Hope you understand what i mean ;)

Bug confirmed (although that's more of a Joomla shortcoming/bug, since IDs should be unique, alias may not... But what does it help if it doesn't work? )

Will be ok in 3.0.6, testing out now.

Fabrizio

EDIT:
Current solution is:
1) If an article is copied it gets "copy-of-" prepended (and if it gets copied multiple times, it's copy-of-copy-of-copy-of...)
2) If a new article is created with an existing alias it gets a random text added to the end of the alias. Ok?

Problem is, you can see this in the adressbar. Because the alias is used to build the URL.
This could look nasty after some time

Standard Joomla doesn't allow you to create an already existing alias. My solution creates a unique alias, it's up to the user (as it is now!) to change it should it not be valid.

I understand what you mean, but wouldn't the Url looks like this after a while " www.domain.com/simplecal/01-copy-of-copy...of-copy-of-Eventname "

Do you understand what i mean ;)
