Attached find the first BETA version of SimpleCalendar v.3.1 with some of the improvements that you guys (thanks!) sent through this forum. I hope that in a fairly short amount of time we will reach productive status and we might be able to release 3.1.0 as soon as possible. Sorry for the long delay ;)

One word of advice: do NOT update a LIVE site with this build. It lacks some features that will be implemented in near future (like edited translations!), it serves to test for errors and special use cases (frontend editing and the like).

Get the latest build here (last updated: june 11th, 19:20)

It should update any SC 3.0.x fairly well, but you never know. No guarantees as I had a limited number of instances to test with.

Feel free to reply to this post with your findings.

Best regards
Fabrizio

MESSAGE TO ALL: please add relevant PHP/MySQL versions when asking for support, otherwise it is very difficult to track down the issue(s) - thanks :)

Can you try and run the SQL statement in the /sql/updates/3.1.0b.sql file in your PHPMyAdmin?

Should be something like
ALTER TABLE <your prefix>_simplecalendar MODIFY COLUMN description TEXT

Thanks
Fabrizio

Hi,

yes, you are absolutely right. Her is the missing info:

De huidige PHP versie: 5.6.22
De huidige client version: 50011
MySQL client info: mysqlnd 5.0.11-dev - 20120503 - $Id: 76b08b24596e12d4553bd41fc93cccd5bac2fe7a $

I want to try your sql-statement, but I don't have the table simplecalendar.
I think because installation goes wrong? Or do you want me to update from a previous versio?

Regards, Peter
