Italian abstract: SimpleCurling è un gestore per i tornei di Curling. Permette la definizione di molteplici tornei con numero di squadre variabile, gestione dei gruppi e turni, stampe e classifiche.

SimpleCurling is a curling tournament and scoring manager for Joomla! Open Source CRM. It's meant to help curling clubs manage their tournament schedules and results, with an easy-to-use tool that can be used directly on the website (thus allowing real-time updates available to all interested followers!).

It was developed for the Lugano Curling Club, and is suitable for all clubs that need a simple, no-frills tournament manager. It currently supports two scoring options (points/ends/stones and points/stones/ends), with more to be available soon.

Available functionalities:

• Customizable tournament layout
• Online signup for teams through a front-end form
• Immediate availability of scores and classifications on the website (details of a tournament can also be set to private in order to only let registered users of the site see the scores/results)
• Fully automated match proposition system, either based on current classification, or random. Possibility to manually select matches and rinks.
• E-Mail gateway for easy communication with signed-up teams (who provided their e-mail address at sign-up..

This component is not yet available as it is undergoing a thorough testing phase.

Italian abstract: SimplePayPal è un piccolo ma potente modulo per integrare i pagamenti di donazioni tramite PayPal sul proprio sito Joomla.

SimplePayPal is a very small and easy-to-implement PayPal Donation gateway for your site. In less than a minute you can set up your PayPal Donation button for your Joomla! CMS site and place it as a module wherever you want

Main features:

• Joomla 1.5 native (no Joomla 1.0.x support), fully MVC and localizable.
• Free (GPLv3) non-commercial release.
• Full support of all PayPal currencies (18 as of today). User can select whether or not show all or only a subset of currencies in the module.

(Italian abstract) SimpleMemberships è un componente per la gestione di iscrizioni a società. È pensato per piccole società sportive o amatoriali. Dispone di una lista soci con tutti i dati anagrafici necessari,permette di definire le tipologie di iscrizione (es: membro attivo, passivo, onorario, ecc.) e di vedere liste di soci ordinate per alfabeto, numero d'iscrizione o altro. È integrato con Google Maps per risalire, a partire dall'indirizzo registrato per il socio, alla sua posizione sulla mappa (da prendere con cautela, in quanto non sempre Google Maps c'azzecca...). Il componente potrà essere scaricato a breve da queste pagine.

SimpleMemberships is a simple component for managing the memberships of small- and medium-sized associationsor interest groups. It is developed for the needs of my r/c model airplanes club. It is not intended as an add-on to Joomla's own account handling functions.

Main features:

• Fully detailed member data.
• Integration with Google Maps that shows the (more or less) accurate geographical position based on the member's postal address.
• List printout in Excel or PDF format directly from the site.

Italian abstract: SimpleCalendar è un componente calendario "inline" che permette di visualizzare una serie di eventi (su giorno singolo, su più giorni) sia in ordine cronologico, sia suddivisi per "categorie" liberamente definibili. È possibile anche definire "gruppi organizzatori" da cui rilevare le informazioni di contatto.

SimpleCalendar is a very basic and easy-to-use calendar component for the Joomla! Open Source CMS. It consists of two parts: the main component application, with both front- and backend views, and a module that shows the next calendar entries.

It was developed for the Lugano r/c model airplanes club's website and is suitable for all websites that need a simple, list-style calendar. The main advantage of list-style calendars is that the users need not search for a specific date span (e.g. month) to see the events, but they are presented in a single, paginated list. They can be ordered cronologically or by category.

This product is available free of any charge under GPLv3 licence, although a small donation is appreciated should you find it useful.

Available functionalities:

• Customizable events
• Customizable event categories, that can also be ordered for importance.
• Frontend menu items can show a single category or all events (ordered by date or by category).
• Organising groups (associations)
• Contact information for single events or group are available.
• The component is fully integrated with Google Maps: event venues can be set with ease and visitors of your site can easily see where the event is taking place.
• Fully integrated vCal/iCal (V2.0) export and "online calendar" function - no need to synchronize your calendars anymore! Just link to the iCal server or download the auto-generated ".ics" file and let the site inform you about updated, moved, or cancelled events.
• PDF export of the calendar entries (both list and single event details)
• The linked module "mod_simplecal" shows the next events to take place - easily placed on your website's frontpage or wherever you like.
