In the download section I just published an update for both the SimpleCalendar component and the largely popular SimplePayPal module. Minor changes to both that should help making these products appealing to a wider audience. I am overwhelmed by the amount of positive feedback I get for both and also very happy about the reporting of bugs, probems and possible improvements submitted by an ever-growing community of users. Thanks to all!

SimpleCalendar v.0.7b now with file upload! PDF Print E-mail

I just released SimpleCalendar v.0.7b which features one of the most requested improvements: file upload. To each event, you can now add a document (flyer, PDF, whatever) which can be downloaded from the event detail page. Allowed extensions, as per now: JPG, PNG, GIF, TXT, ZIP, DOC, ODT, PPT, XLS and PDF. I must say that this is new ground for me and I appreciate every comment (in the forum) about this function, as well as about possible security holes in my implementation (which I tried to minimize). I cannot guarantee it works 100% of the time, if not please provide some feedback!

New version for SimpleCalendar: 0.6.1b PDF Print E-mail

Hi to all, I just uploaded the latest release for SimpleCalendar: v.0.6.1b. A great deal of improvements were added (and the name changed in the process), so that this is really a milestone release. I attached a PDF file with instructions on how to install and upgrade, since this is a little trickier for current users of SimpleCalendar. But I'm sure - it is worth the trouble. More in the forum, this forum post explains the name change (and the actions required to update the static links to all SimpleCalendar pages), this forum post explains the DB upgrade change (and why older versions of SC are not supported), while this last forum post lists all added improvements.
