I just released SimpleCalendar v.0.7b which features one of the most requested improvements: file upload. To each event, you can now add a document (flyer, PDF, whatever) which can be downloaded from the event detail page. Allowed extensions, as per now: JPG, PNG, GIF, TXT, ZIP, DOC, ODT, PPT, XLS and PDF. I must say that this is new ground for me and I appreciate every comment (in the forum) about this function, as well as about possible security holes in my implementation (which I tried to minimize). I cannot guarantee it works 100% of the time, if not please provide some feedback!

Hi to all, I just uploaded the latest release for SimpleCalendar: v.0.6.1b. A great deal of improvements were added (and the name changed in the process), so that this is really a milestone release. I attached a PDF file with instructions on how to install and upgrade, since this is a little trickier for current users of SimpleCalendar. But I'm sure - it is worth the trouble.
