In SimpleCalendar, different categories can have different colours that can be used to identify them quickly in list view. You can set the colour associated to each category from the backend Categories view.

Note that there are no constraints as to the colours: two (or more) categories can share the same colour, it's up to you to identify them correctly.

New in v.0.7.11b, the main calendar list view has a colour legend to help identifying the categories. It can be activated through the switch in SC's admin backend called "Show category colours". The result is as follows:

• You only see the categories that have events displayed in the list
• Categories are now clickable in order to filter the view to only events of this category
