As you all know, the much-anticipated new Joomla release 1.6 is going to be released soon (11 january 2011 is the current deadline). Please note that SimpleCalendar, its modules and plugins have not yet been tested on the new release and full compatibility is not to be expected until much later into 2011. I have made bad experiences while working with beta-quality code and wait until the final release before downloading 1.6, trying out all its new features and start modifying the components to make them compatible. I also will not code for two different versions of Joomla: once migrated to 1.6, this will be the only  supported platform. I thank you in advance for your understanding.
